Chamallow - Amandine Ranunculus
Chamallow - Amandine Ranunculus
Chamallow, Chamallow, Chamallow. This variety has been on my wish list for a couple of years and I didn't have any luck sourcing it until now (I think... look at message below). It is a favorite of growers and customers alike because it's the perfect blend of blush pink and white. Since I haven't grown it yet, I don't have images but a quick google search will tell you all you need to know about why this is such a sought after variety.
Corm sizes: 5-6
Chamallow Amandine has not shipped from my supplier yet and is expected to arrive the last week of September. If you are adding it to your order- this will postpone the shipping of your order until beginning of October (which is still plenty early for planting).
IMPORTANT- this variety was deleted and then just today (the 12th) re-added to my order. As far as I know right now, I'm still set to receive them but there is a possibility that it might be canceled (again). If it does get canceled I will refund this portion of your order and will proceed to ship any other varieties you might have also ordered.
Amandine Ranunculus are a french variety of ranunculus that are used for cut flowers. They are known for being very productive and having fully double blooms on long stems. They are repeat bloomers and in good growing conditions can produce up to 10-15 flowers per plant. Corms can be saved from one year to the next.
Growing ranunculus:
If you're new to growing ranunculus, you need to know that they are a bit picky on their growing conditions and there is a learning curve. Different environments will require different approaches. That being said, I was able to grow them and harvest blooms even during my first year trying them out. Each year after that has been better and better as I learn and fine-tune my approach. I'll include a Growing Guide with each purchase to help you succeed on your ranunculus growing journey.
